The City Hub

The Wesley Mission Queensland city-based support service and the Albert Street Uniting Church Council city-based support service have come together under one structure called The City Hub to deliver an integrated support network across the Brisbane City area and beyond.

Community Meal

Community Meal has been serving people who find themselves in times of hardship since 2005, and runs each Wednesday night in Fortitude Valley.

The free meal provides a vital lifeline for more than 80 marginalised people and offers them a nutritious, three-course, hot meal. Supported by The Servant Network, the service aims to assist people experiencing disadvantage, many of whom are facing the challenges of social isolation. It’s an opportunity for people to engage with others, eat some healthy food and feel part of the wider Brisbane community.

Members can volunteer to assist serve the meals on Wednesday evenings on a regular basis or donate funds towards the cost of the meal.
